What truly sets Mateo & Bay apart from other fabrication facilities are our owner and management team consists of an Industrial Designer (ACCD), Interior Designer (FIDM) and Architect (SCIARC) with a combined experience of over 15 years in the industry. With degrees held in our respect fields, the knowledge, working experience, and guidance will always provide a positive outcome and is equivalent to having a personal liaison during the fabrication process every step of the way. Our upholsterers and carpenters have also been involved in the trade for more than 30 years and are true artisans at work. This insures that all custom designs are created exactly specified, fabricating against the shop drawings and 3D renderings we provide. Our lean manufacturing approach creates an efficient environment, enabling us to take on large scale production projects without sacrificing quality or missing any details along the way. We also specialize in private label collections working hand in hand with the companies and designers we fabricate for. This partnership enables larger companies to ease their production by outsourcing while helping smaller companies and individuals get their ideas off the ground without a minimum quantity requirement.
Our word is our bond and we are committed to on time deliveries, quoting realistic time lines and deliverables that everyone is comfortable with. Never again will you experience unanswered emails, text messages or phone calls. All of our lumber is domestic, FSC certified, and purchased locally along with our high resilience foams for upholstery, insuring they are non-toxic and safe for both commercial and residential use. Mateo & Bay supports a large community of local suppliers, contributing to the well being of the American economy and insuring all of our materials are proudly made in America. We simply will not compromise on the final product we deliver and believe it’s the materials we use that really make the difference. That being said, we never cut corners on materials or construction and live by the mantra “you get what you pay for.”
